We Must All Work Together to Eliminate Poverty
The Peel Poverty Reduction Committee was created in 2008, and developed the Peel Poverty Reduction Strategy 2012–2015, and the Peel Poverty Reduction Strategy 2018-2028. Co-chaired by the United Way of Greater Toronto and the Region of Peel, the Committee is committed to ensuring that Peel Region is a livable community for all individuals and families and is comprised of community groups, organizations, Regional and Municipal governments, the education and health care systems and local residents.
